Oh man. I had high hopes for the Tony awards with Pink hosting. Then, out trots Megan stallion, shaking that bare butt & getting bleeped. Y'all who know me, know I'm not a prude on a stick. But as people coast to coast bemoan what's happening to the country, all you have to do is look at what is now considered acceptable.

I despise elections. Nobody running FOR anything. Only running to P&M about the sins of the person on the other ticket. Party doesn't matter - both sides of aisle run down hill straight into the gutter. SMH

Most of you have seen my rants about the postal service- or lack of - in my 'hood. Well, 2 weeks ago, we got a full time carrier assigned. Nice guy named "Everitt" who seemed interested in doing a good job. His second day on the job, he knocked, strenuously, at 9am, waking Sally and me. He was checking to see if I had any outbound mail. I was a bit "off" since it was pre-coffee and Sally was beside herself.

Every day when Everitt steps on the porch to put the mail in the box, Sally goes ballistic barking. Mind you, she doesn't budge out of her recliner in the living room but she does make noise. She has no biases: Everyone gets the same treatment. Today, I find a card in the mailbox from our ever vigilant USPS.

A warning to Keep My Dog Under Control. Everitt has never seen Sally- she doesn't go look outside. He evidently is afraid this 15 pound loudmouth butterbutt is going to chew through the wall and take off a leg. I haven't thought of an appropriate response - yet.
