The last few months have been filled with prepping, creating, and getting my Kentucky State Fair projects ready, and I’m SO excited to finally share the results! 🎉
I entered 25 items and came home with 12 ribbons! 🏆And, of course… I’m already dreaming up ideas for next year’s ! 😍✂️🧵

AI usage is a super hot topic right now-did you know that one AI query uses up to 40mL water? In contrast, it takes approximately 2700 liters of water to make a single cotton shirt. And the kicker? There is approximately 92 million tonnes of global text thrown away each year. 😱
This year, I have made it a goal to upcycle as many projects as possible by giving second-hand items a new purpose along with using fabrics that I have discovered at estate sales! ♻️

​🧵 ​The sew was jncredibly easy, straightforward, and satisfyingly quick. I made a few minor adjustmenrs to enclose the seams to makes the inside look just as beautiful as the outside!
