I'm calling this build The Junk Drawer because most of the parts are random parts I've managed to accumulate over the years. I built the body from scrap mahogany plywood then added a 1980's Jackson mahogany neck - it was originally painted and needed some serious TLC. The tremolo was fabricated from spare parts, and the pickups are vintage MMK 45's. It sounds surprisingly good - the MMK 45's give it a real 80's metal tone.

Just finished the paint job on a project I'm calling "Junk Drawer". Almost all the components are from spare parts I've managed to accumulate over the years so I think it's aptly named...

Just added a YCV40 to the collection. The middle amp is a YGL-3 and the one on the right is a YGM-3. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of Traynor amps.

Here's a "Partscaster" I put together: Fender neck with ebony fretboard and Alder body, Gotoh tremolo w/brass sustain block, and Entwistle HV75's. It was a fun little project and the HV75's give it just the tone I was looking for.
