The idea for Cards For A Cause came out the culmination of a school project that Aidan did last year as a 1st year, 6-year-old, student at St. Vrain Community Montessori School in Longmont, Colorado, along with his strong desire to help others. Because Aidan's upcycled art and cards were such a hit at his school's Market Day events, he decided that he had a product; and, through, his school's givi
ng program to another school in Africa, a friend who is doing great things in the United States, and other extreme areas needs Aidan felt were important, he had benefactors! Cards For A Cause can now be purchased through Facebook messaging, by emailing [email protected], and at several local retailers in Austin, TX. A Cards For A Cause ETSY store is coming soon!!! All of the materials Aidan uses to create his cards are 100% upcycled, as he uses magazines, newspapers, old folders, and other materials that are no longer wanted to create them. All of the profits from the sales of Cards For A Cause are donated. All of the products are designed and made by Aidan, who is now 7-years-old, and living in Austin, TX. Aidan is hoping to expand in 2014 to include other kids, so more cards can be made, and more people can be helped! Watch for details!
