If you have recently purchased and put into service a Model year 2025/2026 Ford F59/F53, a recall was announced a few days ago regarding the brakes not returning to the rested position, which leaves the light on. Owners should expect communication from Ford regarding the process for fixing the issue.

Ford is recalling select 2025-2026 F-53 and F-59 models over an issue where the brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes.
