Hi, Besties!
We wanted to share an update with our SB family. 🩵

We've been a little quiet on social media, but very busy behind the scenes! We're working on some exciting things for Sugar Bean Boutique and hope to relaunch our website before the Holiday season. We're also still very busy exploring our new storefront opportunity and how we want that to look for us in the future and can't wait to share more on that when the time is right.

The biggest update, though, is a personal one...

Our family is growing through adoption. 🤍
This journey has become the sweetest and most important part of our lives and we're so grateful for your patience, prayers, and support that you've shown to us during this quiet season. 🫶

We'll be keeping our adoption journey over on Casey Lathem-Hearn and we'd love to have you follow along if you'd like!

You all have been such an important part of our lives that we thought it was only fitting to share this special news with you here.

Thank you for continuing to support Sugar Bean and our family. We have so many exciting things ahead, and we can't wait to share more soon!

Our first storefront!! Forever a core memory!! 🩵
From the laughs to the friendships to the best days, we’re so grateful for all of our new customers and friends we met here. We felt like a little look back deserved a permanent spot on our feed. This location will forever hold a special place in our hearts. 🛍🙏💖✨️

I usually share a bible verse with some words of encouragement to get our weeks started but today, I felt led to share this.
This photo is one of my favorites. It was taken in 2018, after Hurricane Michael, in my living room with my sister and best friends. We had just walked through a storm together—literally. But what we didn’t know then was that we’d walk through even harder seasons in the years that followed in different ways, in different areas of our lives.

But we never walked alone.

Church today hit me with this reminder: we don’t just need friends—we need friends who care. Friends who are connected to Jesus. Friends who don’t just say “I’ll pray for you,” but actually get on their knees and go to war for you in prayer.

It brought to mind Luke 5—the story of the paralyzed man whose friends carried him to Jesus when he couldn’t get there on his own. That kind of friendship is powerful & rare.

These are the friends I’m talking about. These aren't just brunch and dinner party friends (though I love that too), these are the ones who have fought for me in rooms I was not in. The ones who have carried me when I was tired, stood beside me when things got hard, and covered me in prayer without hesitation. I once cried over chicken and rice because a friend had shown up with a meal for me in a time of need without even knowing the need- She just knew I needed care and she was there with a comfort casserole.

And I've been down on my knees praying that God would bless them with their babies, comforted them when family members have passed, prayed that God would protect them and keep them safe and help their businesses grow or whatever specific need they had..

In a world full of acquaintances and surface-level connections, I know how blessed I am to have found this kind of friendship.
Friends who love me deeply, care for my heart, and most importantly point me back to Jesus over and over again.

So hear me...
You need friends who are invested in you and not just what they can get from you and I challenge you to choose people who build you up, who pray for you and who are willing to go to war for you because it matters more than you think. 🩵

As we move into the new year, we are closing the chapter on our Lynn Haven storefront. While this space has meant so much to us, we’re incredibly excited about what's next.

Following our best year yet with Sugar Bean Boutique, we have decided to make a shift that feels best for this next season.

This decision comes with a lot of excitement as it allows us to focus on a new opportunity ahead, and we can't wait to share more on that when the timing is right.

As we move forward, Sugar Bean Boutique will continue to be OPEN ONLINE!
Our spring collection will be launching there soon (and it may be our BEST COLLECTION YET)!
