I remember working, working, working… always rushing to get to the next thing. And when I finally got there, sometimes I was so tired from chasing it that I couldn’t even enjoy being there. I had already become focused on what the next thing was supposed to look like for me.
Eventually, every new level started to feel like more work.
That’s when I realized growth isn’t always about making more money, getting the next opportunity, taking the next vacation, or accomplishing another goal. Sometimes the real growth is being able to look around and recognize how far you’ve already come. To remember where you started. To acknowledge who you had to become to get here. And most importantly, to give yourself grace.
Someone once told me, “New level, new devil,” and whew… that is so true. Every level can come with new responsibilities, new challenges, and new lessons. But that doesn’t mean we have to rush through every season trying to prove we’re ready for the next one.
Celebrate the win. Enjoy where you are. Stay teachable. Give yourself grace.
Because maybe being “done” was never the goal. Maybe the goal is to keep becoming—without forgetting to enjoy who you are along the way. 💕✨
Happy Motivation Monday.
It’s a sweet life after all. 🍭💗
