Due to the heartbreaking events that have impacted our community, both Bodega and Atwood Fest have been canceled.

My heart is with everyone affected, their loved ones, and all those who are grieving during this incredibly difficult time.

Out of respect and solidarity with our community, The Stillroom Scientist stands by these cancelations. Thank you to the organizers for making the difficult decisions with the safety and well-being of our community in mind.

I have to admit, second only to candles, reed diffusers are one of my favorite products to make!

The bottles are gorgeous, and testing them is so much fun because they become these little statement pieces all over the house that smell amazing. 😊 They're long-lasting and perfect for spaces where candles may be impractical - bathrooms, entryways, offices, and even homes with curious pets or little ones. 🩵

A little about how I got here:

Many of you first found me through Lavender & Sage Apothecary. As the business grew, I realized I wanted it to better embody my life experiences, values, and my brand voice. So I began redesigning nearly every aspect of the company, from fragrances and product photography to the website itself.

Throughout this process, I kept coming back to the idea that the brand should reflect both my scientific background and my love of botanical applications. The historic stillroom felt like the perfect inspiration: a place where plants, herbs, and flowers were transformed into products for everyday use. Bringing those two worlds together is what ultimately became The Stillroom Scientist.

The new website is officially live, and I can't wait for you to explore it. Whether you're searching for a favorite candle or you're simply curious about what I've been working on, I hope you'll take a look!

Some days running a small business looks a lot less glamorous than pouring candles...

Between markets, production, and R&D, I've been busy building what will become the new online home for The Stillroom Scientist. From product photography and writing descriptions to refining tiny details that shape the overall experience, the new website has truly been a labor of love.

Every product photo is styled by hand to reflect the personality of each fragrance, highlighting fresh herbs and florals to vanilla pods and vintage textiles. No AI here!!! It's been tedious at times, but seeing everything finally come together has been incredibly rewarding.

Although there are still a few final touches to complete, the end is in sight and I can't wait to share the completed website with all of you! It’s been months in the making, but I think it's going to be worth the wait!!!
