I am not one for patience, but luckily for my schedule...I have to go pick up my grocery order for this week's bake day. Allowing these babes to properly cool (and finish baking on the tray )

I forgot to post this last night to say goodnight to y'all, mama was fatigued 😂

Something about a sourdough starter the night before dough day, makes me sooooo happy. The smell, the bubbles, the movement ✨😍 among other things I check before doing my hefty feeding for the night to ensure I have plenty of active starter for my loaves.

Not a typical FM post, buuuuut...

Do y’all remember that “let them” saying that was circling for a while? Well, here’s one more “let them” moment. 🫶🏼

If someone wants to do something kind for you, don’t feel like a burden, don’t question whether you deserve it, and don’t feel like you need to make it easier for them.

Let them.

Was I anxious this morning knowing people were going out of their way to plan a birthday picnic for me? 1000%. 😂 I don’t know about y’all, but I have a hard time letting people do things for me. I immediately feel like I’m being a bother or asking too much.

But this morning, I tried to just…let them. And I’m so glad I did. 🥹

It was such a beautiful morning at the park, and getting to see everyone come together to celebrate and support me was something I won’t forget. I feel incredibly loved and grateful for the people who were able to show up today 🫶🏼✨
