I had a conversation with a customer recently about Mo Willems, and it reminded me just why I have such a soft spot for his work.

Yes, I love Pigeon. And Elephant & Piggie. But my appreciation for Mo Willems goes beyond his books.

It really began during the early days of the pandemic, when I watched him do something that reminded me very much of Mister Rogers: talk directly to children about a scary, confusing world—and take their feelings seriously.

I finally put those thoughts into words on the Bicycle Pie blog.

We're looking for a part-time Retail Associate to join the Bicycle Pie team!

If you enjoy helping families, chatting with kids about their latest discoveries, creating welcoming shopping experiences, and keeping a beautiful little shop looking its best, we'd love to hear from you.

The position is approximately 10–20 hours per week, with weekday and Saturday availability preferred.

Retail experience is helpful, but a warm personality, reliability, and a love of working with children and families matter even more.
