We’re Hiring! Join the Sunshine Book Nook Team!

Do you love books, enjoy working with people, and like being part of a welcoming community? We’re looking for a Part-Time Bookseller to join us at Sunshine Book Nook!

Our booksellers do a little bit of everything—helping customers find their next great read, running the register, shelving and organizing books, receiving new inventory, keeping the store looking great, and helping with bookstore events.

What we’re looking for:
- Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with customers
- Organized and willing to jump in wherever needed
- An interest in books and reading
- Help create content for our Facebook and Instagram
- Take photos and short videos around the store and at events
- Help write fun, engaging posts about books, events, and what’s happening at the Sunshine Book Nook
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Weekend availability is important

Part-time: 15-20 hours per week

If spending your day surrounded by books and book people sounds pretty good, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re at the Urbana Elementary Open House!

Don and Chris are here tonight from 4:15–7:00 PM representing Sunshine Book Nook!

If you’re attending the open house, stop by and say hello. We’d love to see some familiar faces, meet new families, and talk about all the fun things happening at the bookstore.

Due to the weather and power outages earlier in the week, we had to reschedule our Stuffie Sleepover. Our new date for this event will be August 28th with a donut breakfast at pickup on the 29th! Pricing for the event is $10 per stuffie and proceeds will go towards our teacher appreciation event - stop into SBN to sign up your child's stuffie!
