Last weekend on our way to my first ever How’d She Do That? ™️] live event which we appropriately named our ‘Hometown Tour’ as I am originally from Dallas ✨
thweatt (who I’d never met before! love the power of mutual friends and social 💘) reached out to me about HSDT and we decided to host an event together highlighting previous and upcoming podcast guests and welcome some of our favorite brands as vendors as well. I thought maybe 30 people would come and we had over 60 in attendance!

The theme I am sensing as I speak to women on a daily basis both for the podcast, my personal life, and through social is CONNECTION! It seems like every woman I come into contact with is craving connection with likeminded people and I am so grateful to provide a space for genuine connections with the most kind, thoughtful, and genuine women through How’d She Do That? ™️]. I find it so encouraging that as I’ve stepped out to do something I love, it’s also provided me the avenue and opportunity of meeting women I’d never know otherwise! How wonderful to think some of the most influential and important people in your life might be someone you haven’t even met yet. Keep connecting! Keep dreaming! Keep cheering each-other on! I genuinely believe there is so much more to come!

I absolutely loved sharing the microphone with these incredible women at our Hometown Tour ✨ I “share the mic” weekly with our Tuesday episodes but there was something about being together and doing it live that inspired me to keep going!

I originally started HSDT after a radio gig fell through in 2020 (I was going to read ads). I have always loved hosting and I knew I would regret not starting a podcast. I think early on I knew it was something special but to hit the road and meet so many listeners in person has been the most rewarding thing!

Connecting listeners to my guests and their incredible products that they have worked so hard to create is a sense of accomplishment I never could have dreamed of! There’s so much more to come and I am so grateful to everyone who has encouraged me along the way!
