🏹 Factory fresh doesn’t always mean factory right.

This bow came in for a tune-up and the cam timing was WAY off. Put it on the draw board, corrected the timing, checked center shot and went through the setup from top to bottom.

I also ditched the factory V-biscuit rest — not a fan 😬 — and swapped on a standard Whisker Biscuit I had from another bow.

The paper tells the rest of the story. 🎯

Now this thing is shooting absolute darts.

Factory specs are a starting point. A properly tuned bow is the finish.

A little Missouri small-business love. 👊🏹

Just got hooked up with OneStringer.com, another Missouri-based company doing some seriously cool custom work.

Arrow wraps, bow/limb decals, custom stickers—you name it. I had them make these Darton TriTech limb decals to give my bow a little Bowhunters Garage treatment. Onestringer

Same bow. Completely different look. 🔥

I’m a big fan of supporting companies doing good work—especially when they’re right here in Missouri.

Bow came in for a tune-up… and then I found this. 👀

Serving separating right under the D-loop. Could I have left it? Maybe. Was I going to? Not a chance.

If it leaves Bowhunters Garage, I want to have confidence in it—and this one needed fixed for my own peace of mind.

Fresh serving laid down tighter than Josh Bowmar’s shirt. 😂🏹

Made the trip down to Springfield today to watch some of the best target archers in the world do what they do. 🎯

Mike Schlosser. Curtis Broadnax. Jimmy Lutz. Paige Pearce. Stephan Hansen… and a field absolutely loaded with talent.

There’s something different about watching this level of archery in person—the consistency, the ex*****on, the focus, and just how damn good these shooters are.

Days like today remind me why I love this sport. Always something to learn, always another level to chase.

Pretty damn cool day in Springfield. 🏹
