Sometimes we are forced to bend beneath the weight of the storm,
and some of that pressure can crack our carefully crafted facade.
But we persevere, managing to return a little brighter, a little truer to who we are.

Pride is more than a flag or color.
It’s the promise that though the storm may shape parts of us,
Love, unshaken and unapologetic, will always be stronger than that struggle.
