Today’s Crafternoon tea was so much fun! We had a great group of women, wonderful conversation and made a little plant in a teacup to take home. Bough & Vine was the perfect location tucked in among the beautiful hanging plants. We’re so thankful for everyone that came today and hope to plan more of these events!

This weeks Teapot Tuesday is an old family favorite. Not only is she beautiful, she plays music. When you wind it up and lift it off the table it plays Tea for Two. We love this teapot and would love to have it featured at your tea party.

This weeks Teapot Tuesday is a treasured one to me since it was my Nana's. Nana is yet another woman in my life who made everything from an ordinary afternoon tea with cake to Christmas extra special. Nana always set the table beautifully, had fresh greenery and flowers cut, stocked her pantry with everyone's favorite items, and loved to sit with a cuppa. My Nana, like many women from that time period, took care of and appreciated their things. This teapot has cracks that show how many times Nana repaired it. She wouldn't just toss something if it broke, she would repair it and continue to use it. I'm not sure where she got it, if it was a gift or a treat to herself. But I love having this teapot and think of Nana everytime I use it.
