We have been receiving tons of questions around ATF’s recent open letter.
A couple things to keep in mind, this is ONLY an injunction. Meaning the NFA has not been rolled back, it’s just temporarily not being enforced in a normal fashion.
With Ohio “dangerous Ordinance” it prohibits the possession of unlicensed NFA items. Which would prohibit any dealer in Ohio from transferring on a 4473.

You will still also have to complete a Form 1 if wanting to make a SBR.

It is important for us to ensure that we stay up to date, and we only share factual information. The information we have shared in this post at this time is true.

-this should speed up approval times but may lead to disruption in inventory.
