Make the quilt and eat that 2nd piece of cake!

I respectfully request that my pages be a political free zone.

Please keep in mind there are certain areas where people like to go to escape the onslaught of opinions and views in this world and they should be kept sacred.

My big one right now is Quilt RETREATS and quilt events. We need to remember why most of us quilt. To give love and comfort and compassion to others. In my case is to those in medical crisis and family and friends I truly hold dear no matter what race, creed, religion or political views.

Please keep in mind when you are out somewhere where people go to escape their worries and burdens if only for a short time, please keep politics out of those “safe” spaces. This applies in my book to all political views.

Thank you and I pray that we all have grace, compassion and respect for each other.

Another off to the postal service. In time for a Christmas present with a little time to spare. 🎄

These two quilts are headed back to the owner via the postal service. Look
How beautiful and cheery the flower quilt is. The second is an “artsy” camera quilt. Featuring vintage cameras and quilted using Urban Elementz pantograph named Photo Shoot.

Binding…. Another service I offer.

THIS 👇 is making my day! 🎃🐈‍⬛. I just love Halloween. This is a new customer trusting me with her very first quilt. She needs a shout out for a job well done. She chose Night Sky for her pantograph. Perfect blend of a burnt sienna thread with the moon and stars pattern. Really brings the Halloween Spirit alive in this one. I’m excited for her to see this.

Hey everybody, please share and follow my page Lake Superior Quilts and More. Once I hit 500 followers for at least 30 days, Meta helps with more visibility.

More visibility helps my chances of quilting more customer quilts. The proceeds from doing customer quilts go the support my main mission Betty's Bunch Chemo Quilts. Making quilts for those going through their cancer journey or any other serious medical issues having to stay at the Steve Mariucci Family Beacon House away from home. Beacon House Marquette Mi is located next to the only Trauma level 2 hospital in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Upper Peninsula Health Group (hospital).

I was at Beacon House today making a quilt delivery when Guardian Life Flight flew in. Beacon House just waits for the phone to ring asking for a place to stay when a loved one is Med Flighted in or here for treatment not available in their area.

There is no charge to stay at Beacon House. They rely totally on donations and fundraising. Just as Betty’s Bunch does not charge for the quilts we give.

Please share and follow. Means everything to me and my Quilt Fairy’s.

🙏♥️🧚

4 going to Beacon House today. I went to do a “Spotlight “ interview to talk about Betty’s Bunch Chemo Quilts. We are in year 5 and have given about 250 to date (by the end of this year for sure).

Sadly, outgoing then incoming while I was there. Med Flight coming to UPHS next to Beacon House. As I left you could see several family members waiting want watching to see their loved one coming off the helicopter. Kind of a kick in the gut for me witnessing that.

Mary CEO of Beacon House told me when they see incoming, they wait for the phone to ring with need for accommodations of family members. She told me one time they had accident victims incoming that were involved in an accident. One man was ok enough to stay at Beacon House but he arrived with just clothes on his back and no shoes. So of course they jump into action to get shoes and other necessities. There is no charge to stay there. They rely on donations.

This is who we, Betty’s Bunch and her Quilt Fairy’s support. Cancer quilts and quilts for those suffering from trauma.

Please reach out to Betty's Bunch Chemo Quilts to see how you can support our mission and become a BBCQ quilt fairy today. 🙏🧚☺️

Snowflakes, mistletoe and candy canes ❄️🎄. Get those Christmas projects in now. Time is getting away and it will be Christmas before you know it. Give me a try and let me elevate your beautiful quilt to that next level. Will be taking the last week in October off to attend the one quilt retreat I usually do each year.
