Now this is the story all about how...

Franky and J. Designs was founded in 2015, specializing in hand lettering, calligraphy, and paper products. I started working with paper pulp (by accident) after experimenting with different types of paper making.

Each piece is made by hand in my home studio where I always start with 100% recycled paper pulp. My goal is to make unique pieces from material that would otherwise be thrown away. Working with paper has given me the opportunity to create work that is thoughtful and intentioned in our fast paced world.

My love of lettering started as far away from the wedding industry as one can get, Trader Joes! In 2013, I began working as a sign artist and fell in love. Since then I have broadened my love of lettering and jumped head first into the wedding industry. There’s just something about weddings!
