We are so proud of these teams! 🎉

⚽ What a season! 💙💚

Our Adaptive Kickball program was filled with teamwork, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Week after week, participants brought enthusiasm, encouraged one another, and showed what recreation is all about—having fun and building community.

Thank you to all of our participants, families, volunteers, and supporters for making this season such a success. We were also happy to provide each participant with a free pool pass as a thank-you for being part of the program!

We can't wait to see everyone back on the field next season! 🏆

July Client Spotlight
Meet Denise!
Denise, who is looking forward to the day she can enjoy retirement, proclaims is the youngest or “baby “of her family and proudly describes herself as stubborn – a quality that has helped shape her determination and independence.
Denise states it is always a good day when Marcia makes her something for lunch at the Lunch Box located at the Becker Center. She also enjoys talking with Staff Mike B. As she feels he supports her dreams,when asked what does 43 North Iowa mean to you -Denise replied-They have helped me almost all the way, and they continue to believe in me.
In her free time, Denise enjoys completing crossword puzzles and making handmade coasters. She feels most confident when she is earning money and spending quality time with her cousin Pat, some of her favorite things included Italian food, watching Designing Women on Tv and listening to country music.
One of her favorite recent memories was shopping and visiting a clock museum with the activities group where she had a great time exploring and making memories with others.
Her positive outlook, strong sense of self, and appreciation for life simple pleasures make her valued part of 43 North Iowa ! Congrats Denise!
