This post has been sitting in my drafts for a while because it’s such a hard one to write. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to close Red House Florals as a business. 🥹
I started this account eight years ago just for fun, sharing what I was growing and creating. About five years ago it turned into a business, and it’s been such a special chapter. I’ve loved every wedding I’ve gotten to be part of, every bouquet that went out the door, and every person I met at markets. 💐
But somewhere along the way, I realized I had lost a bit of the simple love for growing that started all of this. Turning something you love into work can do that sometimes.
So, I’m taking a step back. Red House will go back to being what it was in the beginning — a garden, a creative space, and a place to share what’s growing here. 🌿
Thank you for following along all these years and for supporting me in so many ways. This community means more to me than I can ever say. 💖
