We just recently replaced our axle u-bolts and thought it was the perfect time to show off this hack I learned in aviation.
Using torque stripe is a game changer.
Now instead of having to crawl under the rig with a torque wrench and check every nut/bolt.
All you need to do is take a peek under and make sure your lines are still intact.
If so, then that means your bolts/nuts did not loosen up…therefore you are still torqued to spec!

Welp…Kolton wins the award for 1st broken bone on the road!
Started out as a fun day at the park letting Rip chase the kids around and expel some of his crazy energy.
Then Landon and Kolton went running down the hill together, got their feet tripped up and Kolt went down hard.
As soon as he hit the ground we heard it…and he immediately started crying in pain.
And if you know our wild man Kolton, you know it takes a lot for him to react like that.
So we knew something was wrong.
Went back to the rig, iced it and hoped for the best cuz he was still able to move it a little bit.
But when it was time for bed and the swelling wasn’t going down we made the decision to take him to the ER.
Long story short…he had a fractured elbow and will be in a soft cast with a splint in a shoulder sling for 6-8 weeks 🤦🏻‍♂️
So wish us luck on keeping this kid relaxed and not using it…cuz as you can see. If it wasn’t for the cast, you’d never know he was injured 😅
