You already have the tools to help your little reader learn the alphabet. Grab an abc puzzle, a tub/basket/bowl and some rice or dried beans. Let your little one have fun digging for letters and learning at the same time. To reinforce the concepts you can sing the alphabet as you point to the letters. Your child can also trace the shape of the letter on the puzzle before putting the piece back in place. The key is repetition and having fun. Children learn best when they are engaged. Young children learn through play. Let me know how it goes at your house.

I am feeling super excited. I received my first two subscriptions in my skool community that weren’t family related and aren’t people that I know. I am so grateful for all the support and love. Happy Little Readers Storytime

Today I’m reading Giraffes Can’t Dance. 

This book illustrates the importance of being who you are and shows us that different isn’t always bad. I love how Gerald follows his heart and tunes out the negative to pursue what makes him happy.
