Running the Cobblestones A novel by C. K. MacDonald (pen name for the mother-daughter writing team of Cecelia McMahon MacDonald and Kathryn MacDonald Schneeman) What's the novel about?

A disgraced young American widow moves to Ireland for a fresh start. She opens an inn and makes friends with the locals. Her gardener, a teen with Down syndrome, vows to protect her like John Wayne, which leads him to confront a stalker who cusses creatively and carries a stun gun. The ensuing chase ends in the raging canal. The story renders surprises, romance, suspense and Irish humor.

Sacred Heart alumni Robert Reinke was inspired by hardships in his life to found Majesty Creations, a marketing company specializing in videos for small businesses, nonprofits and Catholic schools. He also released The Mountaineer, a suspense novel that many of the students at Sacred Heart Catholic School Robbinsdale, MN Alumni/Parent have read! We'll be signing books at O'Meara's Irish House in beautiful Door County on Wednesday, June 20 from 1:00-4:00. Catch a fish boil and a sunset while you're in the area. (Kathy's daughters are working this summer at the White Gull Inn-which has bragging rights to the best fish boils...and the inn is near Sunset Park.)
