Butter candle kits are ALMOST ready!! The Honey Butter was *chef’s kiss*,
Garlic and Chive butter turned out fantastic! Instruction cards are written. Cardstock came today. Boxes are ready. Now to assemble them! But just to preview…
Each box contains:
1 - 4 oz. ramekin
2 - food grade wicks
1- Honey Butter spice packet
1- Garlic & Chive spice packet
Instruction card

You just add 1 stick of butter 🧈

These are going for $8 each and are boxed gift ready (but I would keep one if I were you)

Through the holiday season, I will be supporting a nonprofit that I found over the summer and hold near and dear to my heart. Nested Hope supports caregivers in so many different ways. I am selling 16 oz jar candles with their logo for $20 each. All proceeds go to support this AMAZING non profit.
 The scent, Honey & Amber is a calming yet sensual fragrance experience and was picked out by the founder, Staci Brown. I will have these at all my shows and open houses and they are available now on my website www.handcraftingharmony.com

Most of the time I post pictures of my finished products… but you never get to see all of the time and effort I actually put into making them come to fruition.

Day 1- THE IDEA…Butter candles (great for holiday get-togethers!) 💡 followed by a bunch of research on Ohio food cottage laws. Doing this I learned I cannot give you butter as it is not shelf stable. But I REALLY want to do this so I’m going to find a workaround….ohhhh I can sell kits - voilà! Now we have some traction.

Day 2- ordered small batch of materials, such as food grade wicks, and ramekins. Spent a lot of this day researching spice combinations.

Day 3- WE ARE HERE! Tested a rosemary herb butter. It was good, but not quite a winner. Also, due to cottage laws, anything I put in the butter has to be dried or powdered so I have some powdered honey and powdered vanilla coming for a honey butter recipe. Moving on, we’re going to try a garlic and chive recipe next.

BUT GOOD NEWS! It works the way I wanted it to, which is obviously the most important first hurdle.
So stay tuned!!! Flavored butter candle kits have passed the first few tests 🎉
