We work with high quality oils that we obtained locally; we use our own honey in our soaps and lotions, and beeswax in our lip balms and candles. Being a beekeeper is a challenging and important job these days. Bees are dying at record rates putting our food supply at serious

risk. We like to think we are collaborating to restore and protect the world’s bees in a small scale. It is important for us to not only offer the best natural products, but also spread the word about the importance of bees.

On this Father’s Day, I want to give a special thank you to my father-in-law, Frank Licata.

From the very beginning, he believed in me and supported my dreams. Mountain Ridge Farm would not exist without his encouragement and help. Over the years, he has been there for me through both the good times and the difficult ones, and especially during one of the hardest seasons of my life.

I thank God for putting him in my life and for the kindness, generosity, and support he has shown me throughout the years. I am truly grateful for everything he has done for me and my children.

Happy Father’s Day, Frank. You are deeply appreciated and loved.

It is with deep sadness that I announce the closing of my shop at its current location.

This year has been one of the most difficult and challenging years of my life, and after much thought, I have made the decision to close the storefront as I prepare to move.

The last weekend of June will be the final time the shop will be open at its current location.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you who has supported Mountain Ridge Farm over the years. Your kindness, encouragement, and loyalty have meant more to me than words can express, especially during this difficult season of my life.

While the shop is closing, Mountain Ridge Farm is not going away. I will continue operating my online business and will still be at the Monroe Farmers Market every Saturday. I am currently relocating and will share updates once I have a new location for the shop.

I have also recently accepted a full-time position in a public school. As I adjust to this new chapter, I ask for your patience while I balance work, family, and continuing to make the products you love. I will do my best to keep my wholesale accounts stocked and continue serving my wonderful customers.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting my small business, believing in my dreams, and standing by me through the highs and lows. Your support has carried me farther than I ever imagined.
