The BEST lesson I've learned from this time last year.

Life is full of hatred, jealousy, nosey bodies, lies, gossip and mean girl mentality when it's absolutely not necessary.

I left this for my own personal wellness and can finally agree with 1 person's advice that knows me well .... girl, you don't owe ANYONE an explanation.

Following an appointment in Fondy, I checked out the new stores and was truly impressed and wanted everything inside Boot Barn and Burlington.
The rain made the day feel like Fall and the perfect day to wear a light weight sweatshirt

After visiting a local boutique that I've supported since opening, I'm so impressed by the perfect details and designer beauty-my entire outlook has changed.

Our decor at home isn't displayed with vintage pieces like the social world shares how popular it is, I honestly don't want rusty old tins in my home, nor kitchen or a million ironstone pieces to display that adds extra dust bunnies to clean.

My style is beautiful French Country, but nothing is old, chippy and how now brown cow. I've never liked brown and never will-no one of any influence will convince me otherwise, it needs to stay in the 70's-80's.

We love pops of subtle colors, mainly blues, elegant white furniture with pops of gold accents throughout this 100 yr plus farmhouse.

I am donating back anything that doesn't truly represent who we are and only purchased due to the peer pressure of "I need that to keep or resell "; truthfully all the so called popular pieces never even sold at pop ups or in the stores. So, guess what, goodbye Charlie.

The remainder of 2026 is shedding the unnecessary goods that just don't make sense to me. I love gold accents, gorgeous frames and a sucker for beautiful candle sticks to hold my luminary candles... just like the boutique.

Happy Labor Day ... I am taking the day off and the cool thing is that when your shop is exclusively online, it's never closed.

So many beautiful things were sold over the weekend at our AMAZING show. Now it's time to kick my feet up today.

Heads up - 6 big boxes of my handmade wares are heading to one of our local thrift stores tomorrow. I'm out of space and this stuff has gotta go

And Another discovery, I won't be at this months' flea market/craft fair. I have another appointment that day that I can't miss. Maybe if it cools off a bit, I will set up in the yard soon.
