Think about the last time you sat down at a nail salon.

Soaking. Pushing. Filing. Buffing. Oiling. Shaping. You’re twenty minutes in before a single drop of color comes out. 75% of a basic manicure is prep, and the art at the end is just what you see.

Now count how often you actually go. Once, maybe twice a month. 🤔🤔

1️⃣ Cuticle oil at night, every night. This is the one. Oil absorbs into the nail plate in a way hand cream can’t. Stay consistent and there’s barely anything left to push back by the time you sit down.

2️⃣ On clipping, the rule is don’t. Your cuticle is a seal that keeps bacteria out of your nail bed. The one exception is if yours are badly overgrown — starting from scratch, you may need to clip once. After that it’s
only ever a push.

3️⃣ Lotion and SPF on your hands. The skin there is thin, low on oil, and gets more sun than almost anywhere else. It’s why hands give away age before faces do.

4️⃣ Treat the backs of your hands like your face. Vitamin C toner every morning. Same skin, same rules.

➡️✨Then the fun part. Press-ons skip the destructive half of the cycle. Nothing drilled, nothing soaked off, nothing thinner than it was last month.
