18 DAYS until Down on the Farm! 🌻🐓

We are so grateful to One Community Bank for coming alongside The Yada Project as a sponsor of this year’s Down on the Farm Gala! Their generous $1,200 sponsorship is helping us move toward a night that we believe will propel Yada into an incredible next season. 💛

This year, we’re raising funds for tangible needs that will directly impact the women, kids, and families we walk alongside—including:

🚐 A van for Yada Kids to help us safely transport more children to and from our weekly program
💻 Computers for women working toward their GEDs
🌱 Job Training Program sponsorships that give women the opportunity to gain work experience, build skills, earn an income, and take meaningful steps toward long-term stability

🎒 Help us get kids ready for the school year!

We’re collecting new or gently used children’s shoes and backpacks for Yada Kids and their neighborhood friends. These donations will be distributed through our Hope Mobile as we connect with families in the communities we serve.

Donations can be dropped off at Yada through August 10. Thank you for helping make this possible!

Yada Kids is growing… and we need your help! 💛

Over the past four months, we’ve watched Yada Kids grow week after week, and it’s been incredible to see more children and families finding a place where they are known, loved, and supported.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for more volunteers to join our team! There are so many ways to make a difference:

✨ Leaders
✨ Adult Mentors
✨ Student Mentors (middle & high school students)
✨ Meal Providers (perfect for a small group!)
✨ Kitchen Workers (another great opportunity for a small group to serve together for a week)

📅 Schedule Update: Yada Kids will continue meeting on Wednesday evenings throughout August before moving to Tuesday evenings in September.

🕓 Volunteer Times:
• Leaders & Mentors: 4:30–7:30 PM
• Kitchen Team: 5:30–7:30 PM

You don’t have to have all the answers to make a difference. Sometimes the greatest gift you can give a child is simply showing up consistently, listening well, and reminding them they matter.
