The Yada Project

🇭🇳 We’ve landed in Honduras!

Our Yada mission team has officially arrived, and we’re excited for the week ahead!

Over the coming days, our team will be partnering with Give Hope 2 Kids, sharing skills, building relationships, and spending time with the incredible community they serve.

At Yada, we believe relationships are at the heart of everything we do—whether here in Wisconsin or across the world. 🤎

Please join us in praying for our team, the people they’ll meet, and the relationships that will be built throughout this trip.

Stay tuned as we share updates from Honduras! 🇭🇳

Our new bridal boutique is coming together! We are now booking appointments for January on our website www.yadabridal.com

We are thrilled to share that Bridal Boutique by New Name will be merging with The Yada Project and relocating to Madison, Wisconsin. The Yada Project shares the same commitment of New Name in offering hope, support, and opportunities for women impacted by sexual exploitation. The Yada Project’s bridal boutique will continue to offer beautiful wedding dresses at great prices in order to provide for these women. We will continue to serve brides at our Wheaton location through October 31.Beginning November 1, brides can visit The Yada Project's Boutique at the Madison location to find the perfect dress. You will receive the same care, expertise and attention to detail at the new location we are known for at Bridal Boutique by New Name. This transition marks an exciting new chapter, allowing us to expand our impact and serve even more women and brides.

Additional details about the transition and Yada will be shared soon.

What makes Yada different?

It starts with relationship. 🤎

There are many important services and resources available to women impacted by human trafficking and exploitation. But at Yada, we believe something essential happens when support begins with simply getting to know the person.

Before the programs, the resources, or the goals, there is relationship.

We show up. We listen. We build trust. We invite women into community and walk alongside them as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward the future they want to build.

We aren’t just here to provide a service. We’re here to do life together.

Programs may come and go, but relationships last.

Yada means “to be known.”

And that’s where everything begins.

Calling local makers, artists & creatives! 🌿✨

We’re adding an Artisan Vendor Market to our popular Parking Lot Clearance Sale on October 16 & 17, and we’re looking for local vendors to join us!

If you create handmade, unique, or locally made goods, we’d love to hear from you. Vendor spots are FREE, with a donation from sales encouraged to support the mission of The Yada Project—walking alongside survivors of trafficking and exploitation and working to prevent exploitation before it starts.

📍 Yada Fair Trade & Resale | 2620 Parmenter St., Middleton
🗓 Friday & Saturday, October 16–17 | 9 AM–4 PM

Spots are limited! To be considered, email [email protected] with a short description of what you sell and a few photos of your products.

Come sell your work, meet our community, and be part of a market with a purpose. 🤎

Know a local maker who would be a great fit? Tag them below or send this their way!

Join us Monday evening for Human Trafficking 101, where we’ll talk through the basics of human trafficking, how to recognize signs of exploitation and vulnerability, and how we can respond in informed, practical ways.

This training is open to anyone who wants to learn more, whether you’re already involved with Yada or are simply interested in better understanding this issue.

📅 Monday, September 21 • 6:15 PM
📍 Yada Fair Trade & Resale
2620 Parmenter Street, Middleton

Our Yada Volunteer Meeting will immediately follow the training, so current volunteers and anyone interested in getting more involved are encouraged to stay!

Come learn, ask questions, and better understand how each of us can play a role in creating safer, stronger communities. 💛
