Dolis Dean’s Vintage Parlor is officially complete! 🤍

I spent this weekend—and a few late nights—pouring my heart into every shelf, every vignette, and every little detail. My sweet husband was a huge help, and with the radio turned up, decorating became therapy for my soul.

As I worked, I was taken right back to my childhood. Mama used to take me to Home Interior parties, and she’d let me use her hostess points to decorate my room. Those are some of my sweetest memories, and this little booth brought them all flooding back.

Many of you have asked where the name came from. Dolis Dean’s Vintage Parlor is named after my bonus mama—my mother-in-law, Dolis Dean White. She always had a fresh pot of coffee waiting, and some of my sweetest memories are spending Sunday afternoons with her after church, sitting on her porch or in her living room, visiting about life. She had a way of making everyone feel at home, and that’s exactly the feeling I hope this little booth gives to everyone who visits. 🤍

This space is more than vintage décor—it’s filled with memories, warmth, and a whole lot of love.

My new booth is slowly taking shape! ❤️

It’s NOT finished yet—I still have more shelves to fill and more pictures to hang—but it’s already starting to feel so cozy.

I chose this song because it reminds me of how I decorated in my twenties. It’s also how my children remember their childhood home. Creating this space feels a little like coming home again.

I can’t wait to show you the finished booth! ✨
