After a long day of beaching, sunshine, saltwater and ocean breeze, nothing feels better on those dry lips. Safe to say this little tube has been making the rounds with the whole crew.

One thing we love about traveling is seeing how other small businesses do things. ⚓️

We’ve been touring the beaches, checking out local businesses, and taking in some of the creative ideas that seem to thrive in beach towns. Sometimes the simplest concepts are the best ones and you never know what might spark an idea to bring back to the Semper Suds soap galley.

So far, we LOVE Salty blonde’s coffee at Oak Island, NC! An outdoor beach coffee cart, great coffee, and such a cool little setup. Definitely had us taking notes!

A little beach time, a little small-business research, and maybe a few new ideas brewing for Semper Suds.

70 little hearts sailed out of the Semper Suds soap galley for a very special bridal shower this past weekend! 💕

These were made for our incredible pet sitter, who loves and cares for our pups like they’re her own. Knowing they’re with someone we completely trust and who genuinely loves them means more to us than she probably realizes. 🐾

We were so grateful to create these little heart soaps for her special celebration. Wishing our bride-to-be smooth sailing, lots of love, and a lifetime of happiness ahead!

Well, that’s a wrap on an amazing week!

The Semper Suds crew covered quite a few nautical miles this week with the Fisher House Wisconsin Golf Tournament, sausage and rib judging at the Burn Pit BBQ Back Yard Bash at The Explorium Brewpub, which supported EGGin’ 4 Heroes ’ another veteran-owned business, and Bill Michaels Big Unit's Annual Poker Run Suburban Harley-Davidson.

We also finally got the chance to meet Alex DV with Ultimate Veteran Adventures! It’s always great putting a face to a name and connecting with others doing good things for our veteran community.

We absolutely love supporting Wisconsin veteran nonprofits and veteran-owned businesses. Getting out into the community, crossing paths with fellow veterans, and supporting those who continue to serve the veteran community is a big part of what Semper Suds is all about.

Somewhere between all those ports of call, we also managed to drop anchor and enjoy some much-needed family time.

We’re incredibly grateful for a week filled with great causes, great people, and great memories.

But shore leave is officially over. It’s time to get back underway, roll up our sleeves, and head back to the soap galley!
