From an early age I've always been found with a coloring book and an array of colored pencils or surrounded by scrapbook paper. My sister introduced me to the basics of knitting, and from there I discovered a creative and productive outlet for my restlessness. I never do anything halfway, so I started exploring patterns, new stitches, and began making my grandmothers proud. Early on I found that k
nitting practical things (mittens, scarves, washcloths) never held my interest, so I did some more digging and stumbled upon animal/amigurumi patterns. It was after my first knit eggplant that I fell in love with making quirky animals and softies. I've given many creations away as gifts, and soon friends and coworkers started asking if they could custom order for baby showers and birthdays. I've been selling mostly by word of mouth, but have decided to expand my market. Knitting is a passion, a pastime, and a therapeutic gift. I take great pride in my work, and I'm firmly committed to giving every customer, friend, or family member the best product I am capable of creating. And while they may not fully understand the needlework vegetables, I know my grandmothers have never been more proud of me.
