Dick Hewtson, friend of many, and co-founder of the Minneapolis' Quatrefoil Library, has left this earthly plane. A stalwart champion of NO CENSORSHIP, he was instrumental in changing his then partner--- David Irwins' life (co-founder of Quatrefoil Library) by encouraging him to STOP throwing away GAY BOOKS. As a result, the library came into existence and has been serving the LGBTQIA community for nearly.40 years.

Every day the library volunteers open the doors is an act of resistance against the people that would have us silenced, nay------erased. Someone asked me once--how did they do it? They just did---they didn’t ask, or wait for permission--and the library persists--today.
You can read their story in my zine--available on my website (link in bio).

Make a donation to the library in honor of Dick Hewetson today--send me some kind of receipt---and I will mail you a free copy of my zine as a thank you! Email me at [email protected].

The storms of this life can be relentless...generating wild, undulating expressions of energy that move along the sea bed….gathering, pulling, taking more energies…then swelling…creating the waves that break and crash on the rocky shore where I am out …reaching in the dimness…trying to find my way along the winding shoreline--the line that draws us out, and comes between us. I am out with lanterns….looking for myself and promise to fill this page (another page in my upcoming…...

RIP Andrea Gibson--a true seer, a moved mover.
"What’s the worst thing that ever happened to you? my mind asked me long ago. I said: Not believing in what I couldn’t yet see."

Yes, yes--yet another work-in-progress has come into being. The others are still Coming Soon, but this wild one insisted on budging to the front of the line---demanding my time and energy. I will share the current iterations of pages of this new zine with you--here--and hope they will stir some emotion in you, engender something of value that may be of some use as you traverse this wild and wonderful, albeit worried world....
