We have been silently changing some things here at My Fragmented Soul.

This next year, we have decided to niche down on the salve options we offer.

1) Plantain

2) Dandelion

And our signature
3) Peony

Will be the only infused salve options we will be offering this Fall.

We came to this decision for many different reasons.

Most importantly, we think that scaling back the variety we offer will allow for us to really take the time needed to put out quality salve that checks all the boxes and is truly being made with care and consideration to every moving part.

With that being said, we have also decided to add whipped Shea Butter to our product line!

The website is currently stocked with 16 jars of Peony Root infused whipped Shea Butter!

This is a limited trial run.

The whipped butter is here to stay, but this blend is limited!

I had a couple of jars of refined Shea Butter sitting in my bathroom for the past few months.
Probably longer.
We were sort of using them, but the Shea Butter was a weird texture and it wasn't gliding nicely on our skin.
So I thought I would try whipping it.
I melted it down, whipped it and packaged it back up.
It was super smooth and nice until it had a couple days to harden and then we discovered, it was better than it was, but still not great.
So I dug through my apothecary and found a couple of oils that had been infusing since last summer and a tad bit of beeswax I had left from another batch and mixed them all up, for a personal batch for the fam.
We love salve here at My Fragmented Soul, obviously. But my family also loves it.
So I try to keep some on the side for us always.
I thought it was a fun way to repurpose a product I already had on hand, but wasn't really using.
I normally use unrefined Shea Butter in my salve, so this is not something I would sell, but it's better than throwing it away!

My favorite part of making blankets is the edging.
When the blanket is almost done.
I get to snuggle up on my couch, draped in my almost finished blanket and hand sew the edges.
This one is finished now. Ready for my next ❤️🧵🪡

We added 45 one ounce tins of Plantain Salve to the website this morning!!

So excited that our Plantain Salve is ready and live!

It has been infusing since September!!

🍂 Welcome Fall 🍂

Today marks the changing of seasons from Summer to Fall.

Today, day and night are in equal balance.

We give thanks for all that we have harvested this summer both physically and spiritually.

Maybe you go for a walk through the woods or enjoy a bonfire with your people.

I for one, will be cleaning out my house. I love the energy reset that cleaning brings to my home.

What are your favorite foods to make today?

For my family, I will be making bread, I'm also going to simmer a stew for everyone and since my daughter is feeling her culinary creativity lately, I think we will try to whip up some kind of an apple dessert!
