One of biggest accomplishments in my life was growing beyond what people thought of me. No matter how many lies people bestowed upon my life I have remained positive in my thinking of myself. I believe that everything in life happens for a reason whether it is negative or positive. Rejection of any kind is God's protection. So what they fu**ed you over, they didn't deserve you in the first place. You know who you are, you how good you were them. There is always blessings that come hurt and pain so never regret the experience. Learn from them and do the opposite of what they have done, be better than that. Your soul will thank you for it.
