The End of an Era (and a New Beginning!)
I first launched SydneyLetters (formerly HappyLettering Co.) six years ago!
At the time, I was honing my lettering skills and picking up small projects here and there. Then the pandemic hit. Like so many others, I suddenly found myself with a lot of extra time—and I decided there was no better moment to officially launch a business! 🤣
I started with nothing but a page and a name. I drafted a price list, experimented with Facebook and Instagram shops, and began posting consistently. As my social media presence grew, so did the orders. I’m still so grateful to the friends and family who stepped up as my very first customers! 🫶🏾
Fast forward to today.
I officially graduated college just one week ago, and I am so excited for the future. However, with that excitement comes a bittersweet announcement: I have decided to close SydneyLetters.
This business has grown right alongside me. Being an entrepreneur has come with its share of ups and downs, but it taught me how to communicate, how to be confident, and how to persevere when things got tough. Most importantly, I learned that I can do anything I set my mind to.
That’s why this isn't the last you'll see of "Entrepreneur Sydney!" 🤩💁🏾♀️ This is just the beginning of my journey. While I’m saying goodbye to SydneyLetters, I am prayerfully stepping into a new endeavor within the next year. Stay tuned! 🤫👀
I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it forever: THANK YOU. Whether you bought a mural or simply shared a post, every ounce of engagement mattered. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. ❤️❤️
