TLDR: I've officially closed my business. To everyone who supported my small business, thank you. Truly. It means more than you know. I will now be using this page to share my art and show others how to do it too!
The past 6 months have been… a lot. Loss, change, hard decisions. And last week, I officially closed my business. It wasn’t easy, but it was necessary.
For a long time, I was pouring myself into something that, little by little, was pulling me away from my own path. I love crystals, I always will, but trying to manage inventory, cash flow, and everything that comes with running a business *inside of someone else’s space and control* became heavier with each passing month. I hardly had time to make my own art (my paper, my journals) which is actually one of the main reasons I worked so hard to have a dedicated space in the first place.
And somewhere in all of that… I lost touch with who I am and my own art. But I'm not sad any longer because losing that space pushed me into a new era.
It reminded me that art has always been at my core. Before anything else, I was creating. Collage has been part of my life for years and it’s actually what led me to start making my own paper in the first place. That turned into journals, and so many other things along the way. And now, without the pressure… it feels lighter again. Art is in me. And no one can take that away.
Lately I’ve been leaning back into my paper and collage work. Especially my “paper fodder” pieces. I actually use recycled materials (as my base to paint on), packing paper, food boxes, junk mail, cardboard… if it’ll lay flat, I’ve probably saved it 😂
My recent project has been using all those unnecessary political fliers. I paint both sides and turn them into something completely new. From there, they become collage layers, journal dividers, covers, or backgrounds for other pieces. It’s messy, resourceful, and honestly one of my favorite parts of the process.
I’ll still be creating. Still making paper. Still diving into collage, junk journaling, and watercolor. And I’ll still be teaching classes, showing others how to make their own paper and explore this kind of art for themselves.

This isn’t the end of something… it’s just a return to what’s always been mine.
