The Banana Stand Pop Up #2 was a success at the Indian Village Customer Appreciation Day in Calhoun, La. It was my first visit to the Village but it is absolutely beautiful there. Pumpkins, Vendors, Food Trucks, Lemonade, live music…& me selling Fun, Funky and Vintage. See something in the pictures you like it’s for sale.

Happy Sunday Morning! I am overjoyed with the results of the POP-UP sale yesterday. I have added a picture of empty boxes and totes. A lot of things went to new homes yesterday. I am beyond grateful for this experience. I am also learning a lot. I start Sunday morning with gratitude. I must thank the Lord from whom ALL Blessings flow!

I’m at The Good Daze with The Banana Stand a new dream of mine! Earlier this week I got a tea and that had a positive saying on it…”As long as you live, keep learning how to live.” This is so true for me. Let’s talk about vintage brands.

What is vintage and why does anyone want it? Vintage literally means “of age”. So each era has a look and a unique style. Some of these brands are still in production but some are not. If you were a part of a certain era either growing up or in High School your memories are probably wrapped up in the styles that you wore. Here are a few listed here. I will add to this as I uncover some fun stuff. Prices at my pop up will reflect the rarity of a certain brand and the quality of the item.
