This is one of my drummer’s guitars. Will get the pickup switch replaced and a full set up.The hard part about doing electrical work is because there is no back cavity. Everything has to be snaked through the F-Holes. Fun times…..

Two new builds I am working on

My shop is temporarily closed until I find a new location. I will still be available for set ups, lessons and such. Only thing I can’t really do right now is build a guitar from scratch or do finish work.

Couldn’t wait to finish this so I rushed it. No buffing or polishing yet. Need to add a kill switch and cut the pickguard so the Floyd Rose bridge sits flush to the body. Added some lights around the pickups. My ode to Ace Frehley. Now to just figure out how to make them smoke…….

Seeing as I don’t have a temperature controlled environment or proper spray booth. For the next couple of months I am going to experiment with rub on finishes on all my builds. This is Tru Oil. This finish is used by gunsmiths on their rifle stocks. This is coat #1 of probably 10 or 12.
