That this tiny store would not only survive three major recessions and outlast regional and national competitors for over 45 years, but go on to win almost every

award for excellence in the industry would, indeed, seem unusual. But then again, that was the plan all along. Bring the world's finest consumer electronics together in one place – no spin-offs, no gimmicks, no junk – and then find the right people to explain and demo the difference. People who don't push, but inspire instead, because they honestly love what they do. From there, recruit schooled designers and installation experts, professionals far and away superior to typical chain store installers. Set new standards for music-listening, home theater, home automation, lighting control, shades, car stereo, and more. After people, policy: keep pricing competitive, and provide customer service even years after the sale. Earn our customers’ trust, never hide from mistakes, and build on integrity. Give back to the community and always follow the credo "do well by doing good." Last, laugh at ourselves as often as possible – and never put a fake gorilla on the street to wave in customers. Then, hopefully, let word-of-mouth do the rest. In many ways, today's World Wide Stereo feels a lot like the 1979 version. (If it ain't broke...) But with the addition of e-commerce, and two luxury showrooms, we've grown up some, too. Though Ron, Gavin, Chad, Dave, Mario, Emily, Frank, and many more – are still here. What a fantastic day in Wayne.

One of the things we love most about the Wayne Music Festival is the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful people who make this community such a special place. Pairing live music with thoughtfully selected wines from our friends at Nature’s Vin made for an unforgettable Saturday filled with great conversations, new connections, and a shared appreciation for everything that makes Wayne unique.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by throughout the day. And to those who entered our raffle to win a pair of KEF bookshelf speakers, stay tuned. One lucky winner will not only take home exceptional sound but will also receive a surprise gift of wine from Nature’s Vin.

We’re excited to return to the Wayne Music Festival tomorrow, one of our favorite community traditions celebrating incredible live music, local fundraising, and the vibrant Philadelphia music scene.

This historic Victorian home is receiving a thoughtful renovation by and , and we’re working behind the scenes to integrate the technology that will support how this family lives, entertains, and enjoys the home every day.

Behind the walls, we’re currently integrating:
 
• Invisible speakers for whole-home music
• Invisible speaker surround sound system in the family room
• Intelligent control of audio, TVs, lighting, and surveillance cameras
• Enterprise-grade Wi-Fi throughout the property
• Outdoor landscape audio
• Centralized equipment and wiring infrastructure
• Live systems monitoring and whole-home power protection
 
Much of what we’re doing will never be seen once the project is complete—and that’s exactly the point. The goal isn’t to fill the home with technology. It’s to make everyday living more convenient, comfortable, reliable, and enjoyable while respecting the architecture and craftsmanship that make this home so special.

What an honor for World Wide Stereo to support the incredible Barns & BBQ event benefiting the Willistown Conservation Trust. From touring some of the region’s most remarkable historic barns to an unforgettable evening raising funds through auctions and community support, it was a truly special night.

We were proud to donate a private theater experience for 10 at our Wayne Experience Center, complete with catering and fine wines, and look forward to welcoming the winning guests soon.
