They are made from waste by-product like Corn, Bamboo, Sugar Cane, Wheat straw fibres and other natural products. Therefore, no HEALTH RISKS. Our products don't contain any harmful Phthalates or BPA. And that makes us also good for the environment because we are 100% biodegradable & compostable.

What is a conventional disposable coffee cup made of .... ???

The disposable paper coffee cups found in most commercial coffee shops are made of 100 percent bleached virgin tree based paperboard. This means that the fiber used to make the paper is not recycled and has been bleached with chemicals to remove the natural pigments from the pulp which leave Dioxin in the paper. The paper is usually coated with polyethylene (BPA), which is a synthetic resin that makes the paper water-tight. These cups are not recyclable because of how they are made and go directly to a land fill. They also leach chemicals into the liquid you drink.
