Here’s a helpful tip for doll restoration:

Prescription Teeth whitening gel is 44% peroxide
40vol is 12% peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is 3% peroxide.
Food grade peroxide is 35% peroxide.
OTC white strips 2-22% peroxide.

The higher the peroxide, the more lightening power.

This was 3 days with a crest white strip..

My first Barbie was 1973 Qick Curl Barbie. I was 4. She was gorgeous and I styled her hair until she was bald. 🧑🏻‍🦲

Although matted and tangled, these girls’ hair survived through the years. I said a little prayer over each one as I began the process of detangling their gnarled, wirey mops.

I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. 🥰
