We constantly get asked if we offer an ancestral blend of ground beef and the answer is finally, YES!
Ancestral blend ground beef is a combination of ground beef, liver, and heart that creates a more nutrient dense version of regular ground beef. This blend is designed to incorporate the health benefits of organ meats in a way that is palatable for those who may be hesitant to eat them on their own.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…we LOVE Equal Plates Project!❤️

We spoke to Debbie Huskins, the dedicated property manager at Homeward Bound’s Compass Point Village and she shared some highlights from our partnership:
Since fall 2023, Equal Plates has been providing a daily lunch to this community, sharing nearly 40,000 nourishing meals.

“Our residents truly appreciate having fresh vegetables—many have never experienced food like this before. The nourishing meals from the Equal Plates Project are a genuine blessing.”
Debbie emphasizes the importance of daily nourishment, especially for those who can’t cook for themselves, making a meaningful difference in their lives.💚

We love Equal Plates Project and their mission!! ❤️🍴

With the new year, comes new farm partners! We are thrilled to partner with ! 💚As part of our commitment to supporting small, local farms, we’re excited to purchase beef from this farm in Morganton, NC.

We had the pleasure of visiting the RAD Farmers Market recently to connect with Anna from J4. “My Dad and I love partnering with Equal Plates because we’re supplying locally grown food to a community who is worthy and deserving of consciously grown food. Asheville and the surrounding areas have always supported us and we love giving back to ensure they get the best we can give them.”

Our chefs can’t wait to incorporate their short ribs, tender roasts, ground beef, & more into our meals—nourishing our community with quality, locally-sourced ingredients. 💚

Mike from has coined this phrase and created one heck of a gang that we’re so honored to be a part of. Every week you can consistently find him and his crew at and serving up some of THE BEST food Asheville has ever offered. Why is it the best? Because everything they put on a sandwich (except for the & it’s a sin to use anything but Dukes) is locally sourced and super fresh! We’re proud to have a spot on their menu featuring our dry-aged ground beef in the “Chopped Cheese” along with “Anna’s Summer Steak.” There’s not a thing these guys create that won’t make ya mouth water. Forever homies✌🏻
