💥‼️BLACK HISTORY MONTH IS EVERY MONTH‼️💥 Throughout the month we will be highlighting some of our personal unsung heroes of the black community!

Cree Summer Francks is an American-Canadian actress who has voiced some of your favorite characters! Besides having a stint on A Different World, Cree went on to lend her talents to multiple to voiceovers!

She started young, age 11, she voiced Penny from the iconic Inspector Gadget. She’s lended her talents to the Rugrats Movie and beyond doing Susie Carmichael and doing the forever favorite and creepy Elmyra from Tiny Toons.

Cree has said one of the reasons she loves voice acting is because she is free to be anything she wants, a black girl, a white girl, even an inanimate object. She felt as a black actress the best she could ever hope for would be to play a white woman’s black best friend.
