It's honestly so nice to go straight from the kitchen to the shelves! I absolutely hate any kind of waste. So I was cutting marshmallows for the kid friendly s'mores pops (now available in the store!) and saw all the scraps about to go to waste. But! Marshmallows taste good in any shape!
So there's a few bags of 'Mug Shots' available in the store. They may be to ugly for a pop, but perfect to top off a mug of hot cocoa 😉
... There may also be some TDC hot cocoa mix in the near future 😁

I feel like it's important to see all of the layers.
A fluffy coffee marshmallow center, dipped in chewy pumpkin spice caramel, and then the whole fusion of flavors is dipped in Guittard dark chocolate. The Autumn Latte Pops are basically taking that well loved fall latte and encasing it in chocolate.

I love honey, but I will say that these liqueurs really got my imagination going. I took a deep history dive on these and it greatly influenced the concepts and flavors of all three. If you haven't stopped by Broderick | Wash Park Cocktail Lounge and tried these, that should change.

First--thank you all so much for taking part in the tasting boxes! It was such a wonderful way to connect with the community and hear true feedback. I'm going through the submissions and I'll be making adjustments over the next couple days.

Second--New menu items!! Since we're calling it fall now, it's time for some fall treats. Starting off with new Autumn Latte Pops!
A coffee marshmallow in the center, dipped in pumpkin spice caramel (made with dehydrated pumpkin powder), then they're dipped in either milk or dark chocolate, and finished with a white chocolate drizzle. Come grab some at the Morrison Store starting tomorrow!

Eight different sweet samples waiting for you to try. The assignment is simple: eat candy and tell me what you think!
There's a special page on the TDC website that can only be unlocked with the password you receive when you purchase a box. Stop by the shop and pick up a box before they're gone!

This is where it starts. Three brand-new truffles built exclusively around The Broderick's three new liqueurs. Jars of Bjorns honey being turned into honeycomb.
But the most important part is what you think of the end results!
Launching Wednesday — $5 tasting boxes, in-store, while they last. Truffles, honeycomb, hot honey brittle, and (if all goes the well) a baklava square — a full flight of what's coming next.
The best part: your feedback decides what these actually become. Taste everything, tell me what you think, submit your notes by Monday at noon — after that, the finalized confections will be based on what you share.

Did you know that TDC has three gold Chocolate Salon awards?
Thai Peanut Butter Cups, Ginger Current Truffles, and this beautiful creation--Bananas Foster Squares. Made with a thin layer of caramel steeped with cinnamon and cardamom, which is then topped with a rich white chocolate ganache. The ganache is made with my own dehydrated banana powder, cinnamon, cardamom, a touch of molasses, a little banana's 99 liqueur, and of course, a rich dark rum.
Hand cut layered squares are dipped in white chocolate and topped with a candied bourbon pecan crumble.
You don't have to like white chocolate to enjoy these, but a love of New Orleans cuisine doesn't hurt.
