I’m excited to officially launch my custom bike brand, REM Cycles, a small studio with a big mission: Build dream bikes with elite performance, without the elite price tag.
I've been a cyclist for over 30 years now and have ridden all types of bikes, from mountain to road, from inexpensive to premium brands. Hands-down, I prefer to ride the premium bikes.
In the last 10 years there has been a noticeable trend with most of the western bike brands: Prices kept going up, but the performance gains… not so much.
For years, some of the biggest western brands have had their frames built by OEM factories in Asia. Those same factories are now making their own brands – names like Winspace, Elves, Yoeleo, Quick, Seka, and others – offering incredible performance direct to riders instead of through layers of marketing and markup.
So this is where REM Cycles comes in - I’ve been building and riding incredible bikes from some of the best manufacturers for the last four years. I've built many bikes for my cyling partners and other customers who saw these bikes and immediately appreciated the design aesthetics, and then fell in love with the performance once they rode the bike.
The bikes are:
