Fun little project I’ve been working on, started it many months ago after having an idea to make a half cab Bronco but make it a welding rig. I call it “Work Horse”.

Burnt up my motor on my R/C crawler a few weekends ago. Replaced the motor and trans, to this realize the terminal or prong on the ESC had broke off! So I’m waiting on a new one to get it back running! Let me know if you want to see morning crawler content! Little thing is fun to play with

Finished up this 65 impala for the Engine Swap Buildoff over on Instagram over the weekend! I’ve had this 3D printed LSX motor for a few years, finally found a home for it! Wanted to do a few upgrades but keep everything clean and simple. Printed a shifter, steering wheel, exhaust tips and these smoothie wheels! Not as loud of a build as I usually strive to build but really like this one! Thanks for looking!

Didn’t get a better picture of this truck but it’s finished and the customer is happy and so am I! This truck was a beast but no job is too big! To start, couldn’t find a crew cab in this year of truck, so I took 2 extended cabs and spliced them together to make a one of one crew cab! Cut the floor out of the bed, and made a bed cover. This truck sits on a 3D printed wheels/tires and chassis! Even with a custom chassis, this truck was still too long for chassis, so I cut the chassis and stretched it to fit the body! All that to say, no job is too big or too small at Speakeasy Speed Shop! I love building these cars and would love to take your car and make it in a scale version! PM me for inquiries!

So y’all might have a good sister-in-law but you ain’t got one like I got! I was surprised with a resin printer for Christmas this past year! With that being said, I’m starting to play around with everything on there, found this file for Remy from Ratatouille! We’re big Disney fans in our household, so it felt right to test it out with Remy! I will post a pic of him once I’ve painted him!

That being said, Speakeasy Speed Shop is taking scale model building to a new level!

Finished this fun little Galaxie up the other week for a friend! After a few conversations, never seeing a photo of the actual car, I got this beauty finished and surprised him with it! Nothing wild, just clean!

Here we go! Here is the colors I’ve chosen for this years SEMA invitational build off! Thought it would be a unique color contrast and who doesn’t love some cotton candy!?

Thank you to my long time, good friend Josh for giving me this mini paint booth! It belonged to his father, which was fellow hobbiest. I thought a lot of his father and am honored to be gifted a piece of his artillery! I look forward to using this in the coming days!

Big motor, little car…. It fits, so we gonna ship it!🤙🏼 The 5.0 coyote motor fits perfectly in the 29! Got the doors on the cab “welded” shut. Got the chassis all cleaned up and shaped up. Base coat of paint is on the motor and is assembled. Got a good bit of body work left to do. Stay tuned as this Model A pickup forms into something crazy!

Got some good progress done on the Model A pickup this weekend! Said goodbye the the tailgate and “welded” it shut! Made a bed cover from scratch, looking to make hinges soon! The chassis was molded in 2 separate pieces, one of which has fenders attached, and we don’t like fender! So cut those off a few weeks ago, but got some putty down the frame rail. Once it’s hardened and cured, I’ll go in and sand and shape the chassis up and make her look pretty and smooth! What I’m most pleased about is my grille! I like the uniqueness of the bubble nose but hated the grille on the molded piece, so I dremeled it out and used some material in my stash to create a much cleaner, cooler looking grille in the nose! Thanks for looking!

Very happy to share with you my latest completion from the model bench! Was reached out to by a friend to build this! After finally finding a kit (last ran this kit in late 90’s-early 2000’s) I got to work! Cut out a hole and made a custom, etched sunroof, scratch built a gauge cluster for A-pillar, has a 3D printed tachometer, custom license plate to match the car, and moved a few things around under the hood to make this beauty match the actual car!

So happy how this one turned out! Thank you for entrusting me to replicate this jewel of a car in 1/24 scale! It was a blast!
