If you or someone you know are in a dark place. Sunrise through the Darkness is an easy read and can help in starting on the road toward a better life. We need to instill positivity and inspire our children so they understand at an early age that life is and will be tough. Yet, they can overcome any challenge in life while they never give up. Immigrant, American, Survivor teach children those important lessons. Pick up a copy of each book for you, someone you love, and a child to help as they navigate their way through life. We've been receiving amazing feedback from educators using "Immigrant, American, Survivor" in the classroom. Here's one of those messages:

"My 4th grade class now has some valuable
insight into the events and stories of 9/11, the
bravery, the heroism, and what it means to be
an American.

They also learned about immigration, citizenship,
and associated vocabulary. Most importantly,
"Nunca te rindas!" Never give up! We refer to
that often in class when we encounter daily
difficulties. This book is a must-read for all
classrooms. Very inspirational!"

This week at New York Comic Con, Blue Juice Comics will host 9/11 First Responder Officer William Jimeno, along with co-author and Illustrator Charles Ricciardi, to talk about their new inspirational children’s book, "Immigrant, American, Survivor-A Little Boy Who Grew Up To Be All Three."

WHEN: Thursday, October 7th between 10am-4pm
WHERE: NYCC, Blue Juice Comics (Booth #2243)

The Story: 20 years after the attacks on 9/11, "Immigrant, American, Survivor" teaches important lessons about some of the real heroes that day and encourages young readers to follow their dreams, take pride in their heritage, and appreciate their country. Personalized autographed copies will be on hand, as well as a chance to speak with Will himself!
