Today we honor those who fought for freedom of enslaved African Americans and those who continue to fight for justice and equality today!

You can find us celebrating in-store today, surrounded by great books, so many of them by Black Americans and authors of the African diaspora. Come see us in the store today for great recommendations!

We will continue the celebration tomorrow, Saturday June 20th at the Juneteenth Celebration at McCulloch Park from 1pm-7pm. THE SHOP WILL BE CLOSED, but you can visit our tent to celebrate, get great book recommendations, buy a book or two, and observe so many beautiful black people celebrating community and progress.
