Fishing For The Mission 22 South Carolina Division Fishing for Mission 22 aims to raise awareness of the 22 veterans lost to suicide each day in our country.

We are dedicated to helping veterans and first responders in crisis by providing healing, community, resources, advocacy, and support.

We are incredibly excited to welcome Paul Wahlberg to our FIRST ANNUAL Salute to Service Slider Showdown! 🎣❤️🤍💙

We’re officially ONE MONTH AWAY from our FIRST ANNUAL Salute to Service Slider Showdown and we have a VERY important question…

WHAT MAKES THE PERFECT SLIDER?! 👀

And remember… a slider doesn’t have to be a burger! Our teams will be bringing the creativity with:

🥩 Beef
🐷 Pork
🐔 Chicken
🦐 Seafood
🤯 Or something completely unexpected!

So tell us…

Because on October 3rd, our teams are bringing their BEST and Paul Wahlberg (alongside a couple other SURPRISE judges) will be helping us find out who can actually back up the talk and deliver the BEST SLIDER! 🏆🍔

🎣 Our First-Ever FFTM22SC Rod Building Clinic Was a HUGE Success! 🎣

We’re excited to share the success of our inaugural FFTM22SC Rod Building Clinic, proudly sponsored by Carolina Deckhands, FirstLight Home Care and Willow Lodge! 🇺🇸

Five incredible veterans and first responders joined us for a six hour hands-on experience where they each built their very own custom 7-foot casting rod from the ground up.

Participants got to make their rods truly their own by choosing between a black or white rod, as well as selecting the color of their rod guides. With three talented rod-building technicians from Carolina Deckhands on hand, everyone received guidance and assistance every step of the way.

A huge THANK YOU to:
🔹 Carolina Deckhands for providing three experienced rod-building technicians and sharing their knowledge with our participants.
🔹 Willow Lodge for providing us a venue to host our clinic.
🔹 FirstLight Home Care for generously donating the food and helping keep everyone fueled throughout the clinic.
🔹 Our FFTM22SC Leadership Team, with four members present to support the event and our participants.
