✨ A little story about how our little Scent Bar came to life! ✨

Did you know The Scent Bar by KBD Graphics was actually dreamed up while I was on maternity leave with Blakely? 🥰

If you know me, you know my brain never really shuts off when it comes to this little business of mine. 😂

While I was home with our newest little addition, I kept thinking about one problem I was constantly running into at the shop… INVENTORY!

With so many amazing fragrances and different products, it was nearly impossible to keep everything stocked in every single scent. I was constantly making more of one thing while something else sat on the shelf.

And then one day, it just clicked. 💡

Why was I making everything ahead of time when I could let my customers choose exactly what THEY wanted?!

Their favorite product. Their favorite fragrance. Made just for THEM!

And that’s how The Scent Bar by KBD Graphics was born!

What started as a simple idea to make running my business a little easier has turned into one of my favorite things we’ve introduced at the shop.

From laundry detergent and multipurpose cleaning spray to linen spray, mop soap, and more, I absolutely LOVE watching customers create their own combinations!

One of my favorite parts of owning KBD Graphics has always been coming up with ideas, figuring out how to make them work, and turning them into something real.

This little scent bar is no different. It started as an idea in my head during maternity leave, and seeing customers enjoy something I worked so hard to bring to life means more than you know.

So if you haven’t stopped by to experience our Scent Bar yet, come see us! I’d love to help you create something that smells amazing and is uniquely YOURS! 🤍

Can your laundry detergent make your whole house smell amazing from ONE scoop?! Because mine can. 😍🧺

I’m especially obsessed with this new scent I just created — Old Towne — because OH. MY. GOSH. 🤤 It smells so freaking good!

I’M BACCCKKK!!! 😂🙌

Okay, okay… maybe not completely back. 😂 But in all seriousness, I’m finally getting to spend a little more time at the shop here and there and getting back into the swing of things!

Turns out, having a baby at 40 is NO JOKE… especially when that baby happens to be the sweetest, most beautiful little Velcro baby who thinks Mama should be within touching distance at all times. 😂💕 But let’s face it… I wouldn’t change a single thing.

I may be working a little differently these days, but the planners are still getting made, orders are still going out, and I’m slowly finding my new groove!

Here’s a little peek at a few of the planners I’ve been working on that have shipped out recently! 📚✨

It feels pretty good to be back. 💕

Well… today’s plans changed! 🤦‍♀️😂

The A/C at the shop has decided to quit working, so KBD Graphics will be closed today. With this Texas heat and a baby in tow, there’s just no way for us to stay there comfortably until it’s fixed.

I’m not sure yet how long repairs will take, but I’ll keep everyone updated as I know more. Thank y’all for understanding, and hopefully we’ll be back up and running soon!

🫐 From the bottom of my heart, thank you. 🫐

To everyone who walked through my doors today during the Blueberry Festival—thank you for choosing to shop small, support local, and spend part of your day with us.

Whether you made a purchase, created something at the Scent Bar, stopped in to browse, or simply took a moment to say hello, I appreciate each and every one of you more than you know.

I was so excited to see the new Scent Bar in action today! To see all of my planning come together and actually work was the best feeling.

Now products don’t really go “out of stock” anymore. If you don’t see the scent or product you want on the shelf, just let me know! You pick the product, you pick the scent, and I’ll make it fresh for you right at the counter!

As a small business owner, days like today mean so much. Every sale, every kind word, every share, and every visit helps support not only my business but my family as well.

Thank you for showing up, supporting downtown Nacogdoches, and making today such a special day. I am incredibly grateful for this community and for all of you who continue to support my dream year after year.
